Transformation and Change

The current energies are about forward movement to where you want to go and what you want to do and feeling excited for the new.

Taking action takes us out of thinking into doingso it is very empowering to take action.

The energy is wanting us to take action and so we need to take a small step, small action to move into the new. Taking action will elevate you and shift you out of circular thinking around wanting to do it but feeling stuck and stagnant.

Maybe making a to do list is a good first step of action, or revisiting your to do list and putting it in order of the easiest to do. Sometimes I will write a list in order of importance, with the most urgent at the top of the list, but this can sometimes stop the list from being started because that can be the hardest thing on the list to do, and it can be easier to start with smaller easier tasks and then you can feel super pleased with yourself as you tick things off or cross them out. As you do this and your list diminishes you will feel a lot more inspired, in the flow, and charged up to just do that big thing that was a hurdle to getting anything else done.

If fear and triggers come up then you can write them down and release them. You can also imagine yourself achieving your desired outcome and keep replaying this positive outcome in your mind instead of the fears which stop us moving forwards.

After typing the above and sending it in my last newsletter today, which I have to say I had been meaning to and trying to do for weeks, but felt too tired, uninspired, had nothing positive to say etc etc, I have had another good tip come in to share with you, which I find works really well for me.

As I've said, I've been trying to type a newsletter for several weeks and was feeling bad that I just wasn't getting it done, but I like to share inspired information that flows to me and not type something up to a fixed schedule for the sake of it, so there have been and probably will continue to be gaps in my newletters, and then there may be a flurry of them, like this one following yesterday's so soon!

Even Smaller Action!

My tip for you is to break down the task even more into something so small and easy to do that you can't not do it. For me this could be opening up my newsletter software and a new email and type in one sentence. Quite often once I start to type then lots more will flow, and so when I did this with yesterday's newsletter and started a new email with just a few phrases, I found myself typing more and more and then I had done the whole email, without it having been my intention to do the whole email at that time.

There's something in the energy, that when we 'open the door', open the software, open your notebook, sketch pad, ktichen cupboard, get out the chopping board etc, that we will keep going, because the door has been opened and the energy now flows through it!

I've shared before in the past, that doing this is how I started to write my book Loving You. I had so many messages from the angels to write a book, that were getting louder and more often that I got annoyed and started to write, I'm supposed to be writing a book and I don't know what to write about, rant, rant, and then the information started to flow! (And I deleted the start of it to have a better opening for my book!)

When I've felt I should do another drawing, but not felt like it for whatever reason, then I have given myself a 5 minute challenge to do a quick sketch, black and white just to get back into drawing. I mean 5 mins with one pencil and sketch pad is pretty easy to do, but the power it hold for opening your door to creativity is amazing. I did this a week or so ago and I didn't just do one sketch, but several, and I most likely took more than 5 mins, although I did keep it short and didn't go into detail and shading or colour, just to have the energy of no pressure, quick and easy and see something on your paper.

Here is one of the quick sketches I did. This was the image on a relaxing music video I was listening to, and I really like it so I decided to quickly draw it. I like doing quick drawings as it takes the pressure off getting it right, you don't have time to be too fussy. Some of the proportions aren't right and if I was to do more then I would correct them. A friend has shared with me that his art teacher wouldn't allow them to use a rubber / eraser in his art classes. 😳 That is probably pretty shocking to more artists, but I think it's good to draw for 5 or 10 mins without erasing and see what you end up with.

You can apply a version of this to other endeavours.

I hope this tip helps you to get started with something that you're wanting to do, but don't seem to be able to get started. So open your kitchen cupboard, get out your hammer, pick up your guitar, or whatever and see if you stop at that or if it opens the door and more flows through!
